If a place serves food but doesn't serve alcohol, I'm not paying for a drink.

American beer was garbage up until the 90's because of prohibition. We don't really know what beer was like before then, except that "big breweries" didn't really exist like they did later, and there were tons of small breweries that went out of business.

So no, American beer sucked 50 years ago, and nobody really knows how good it was 100 years ago (probably better, but still not very good). What we do know is that America now makes the best beer in the world, and we're alive now, so who gives a fuck?

We spent 45 minutes looking around for the thumb before finally deciding that it was swallowed, then driving an hour to the emergency room, while the guy thought about the fact that he's going to have to live the rest of his life without a thumb on his dominant hand.

Fuck keeping animals that can turn into animals and fuck you up, even if they think they're just playing around.

A lot of people are giving you shit OP, but I think a bar should be allowed to have smoking inside if they choose to, provided that there's a sign informing customers of that decision. It would be the customers decision whether or not they wanted to go into a bar with smoking inside, if they hate smoke, then they can choose not to enter the bar, I don't see what the problem is. I don't smoke and I can't stand cigarettes, but I don't see why it would be a problem if it was inside the bar, where customers have been informed that smokers will be in. It's not like your forcing anything on anyone if it's the customers decision.
