Yeah, check with local farms. Small ones are best for getting raw milk. Some states, it's illegal to sell that and I don't know about the Omaha area. It's spotty in California where I'm at but there are so many small farms in Northern California that you can just talk to them at farmers' markets and most will deliver on a private level.

When I was in Sweden they used Mellanmjölk that literally means “middle milk” on their cereal or musli. Filmjölk is another variation. That's where I got the yogurt idea from. It's the same concept... meaning not quite milk and not quite yogurt but right in between. I remember it being quite a hassle to keep fresh because it would go off so fast and would only be good to put into a septic tank after like a week or so.

has anyone tried this? its surprisingly good.
