I pulled the insides of the machine apart and took the boiler apart. Pretty manky inside.
Cleaned up okay, the group head part I am happy with but the boiler part still needs to be ground flat on the mating surface as there is some tough scale and pitting that has made the surface uneven.

You can just make out in the deepest visible part of the boiler that there is still beige scale build up in the inside of the boiler.

I did 2x citric acid for 30 minutes each time and it's hardly made a dent, What's the next step of upping the descaling solution?
