No. Almost every country has silly traditions. The UK it's royalty, and not the only country with a royal family. Rich and poor inequality levels are actually more prominant in the US, and that's a fact:

Again no. While a lot of the poor in the UK do eat badly, and do seem oddly proud of the fact, the UK generally eats well and has had increasing standards over the years. It has more Michelin stars per capita than the US.
