The problem with supermarket coffee is that the quality is a fucking roller coaster.
Sometimes you get amazing shit and sometimes it's overroasted greasy garbage, even in the same production run with the same expiration dates.
I've had amazing and disappointing cups of coffee from mostly every brand I've tried, including aldis single origin stuff.
In fact I just keep buying the same one until it disappoints me and then I switch to something else.
Right now I'm on coffee bean & tea leaf's 10% kona blend.
