I've got liver and no onion. What do? The liver must be eaten for dinner tonight and I'm not going to the grocery store.

Am I alone on this? I tried eating it when I was poor as fuck because of the price... ended up vomiting that week's food money.

Evenin' coo/ck/s. I've recently come into possession of a shitload of fairly fresh beef liver. I already have a general idea of what to do with it tonight, but since I've got so much more I figure cooking it with sauteed onions will get pretty boring pretty quick.
Any tried and true recipes or off-hand ways to cook up beef liver?
Any and all ideas welcome, and thanks in advance.
