Which is strange, since we get all our sugar candies from either Mexico or Canada.(although we get a lot from other places like Argentina and Columbia too.)

Fun Food hack:
Somehow, there is serious sorcery at work here--Take a standard bag of shitty CANDY CORN, any brand, put in a microwave safe bowl that is double the volume, NUKE for 10 seconds at a time,(*DO NOT OVERCOOK!,) stirring between heatings until melted, but still thick, dump in a jar of dry roasted peanuts, (even Dolla Tre are ok,) stir one last time and dump out onto parchment or wax paper, rolling up like you would Maitre d' Butter.
Somehow, this really does end up exactly like a payday or nut roll.
*Honey roasted peanuts for extra sweet, but not my preference.
t. I'm NOT a fan of candy corn, but this achieves some sort of strange confectionery Alchemy, much like putting fresh meringues in a paper bag makes them chewy like foamy taffy instead of cripsy.
Good way to get rid of candy corn if you don't like it, but like payday bars.
