Of course it was crispy. I took the pic long after it cooled down. It was still crispy much later when I ate it. The love the skin so there is no way I am going to let it not be crispy.

I had an even older fag co-worker that liked KFC. and when they changed their oil to trans-fat-free-whatever, he ate it once and complained about the taste and never went back.

I can remember back in the late 70's and early 80's KFc tasting awesome. As for me, I don't know whats happened over the years -- other than the trans-fat shit -- but I prefer Popeye's, Bo Jangles, & Lee's now.

bonus, I love the jambalaya as well.
