Sure it's fun, but shallow retards act like rattling off a few recent vacation destinations is a substitute for having a personality.

Travel doesn't make you automatically cultured. Most people who consider themselves "travel aficionados" are the travel equivalent of op's shallow self-proclaimed "foodie". They visited some place full of brown people or old buildings for 2 weeks and tried european nutella or the original thai red bull, and all of a sudden they're enlightened beings too pure for this world. Just go on /trv/ for 10 minutes and you'll see exactly what I mean.
