Maybe it’s just here in jew york but chain pizzas are fucking terrible in my experience. Rubber cheese, disgustingly sweet sauce and dough way too thick for how dry it is. Definitely cheaper than a decent place so it has that going for it.

I can’t say I’ve had too much chain pizza though, since I grew up next to a great local place which was then replaced by another great one. All of the chain ones I’ve had were closer to cafeteria food or like, 7/11 shit.

But you can’t say every independent place is just better either, they’re all variable. Chains are a bit more consistently shitty. Plenty of regular places fuck it up too.
