Yeah! It's a sweet and salty thing. There aren't many things that I liked about growing up in the south, but this is one of the few things I kept.

What do you think of this? It's ok, but the sogginess of the nuts is kinda gross. I like the fizzy sound though.

Actually, this is Coke & peanuts. As in a concoction made of Coca-Cola and salted, shelled peanuts.

Usually, you would drink this from a 6 1/2 ounce or 12 ounce bottle. You drink one swallow to make room in the bottle and then add the peanuts.

I have never seen this served in an open glass, especially not 22 ounces at a time. Shudder.

It is a unique taste, and may take getting used to, but quite good. I believe it works better when it is very hot and humid outside and the Coke is very cold.

It is common in the Southern U.S., but less so than it used to be.

tough call you wan't to help others, but some, perhaps, become a bit "too" attrached. I worked for a great HR/ Personel manager. She was the best. Where I an hr or personel manager, doubt I'd have anything on my desk except... It can become too personal, to quick, and you are just trying to be nice.
