From what I understand Lobster was eaten by everyone regardless of class, but there are some things you missing about lobster. Lobster quickly becomes garbage after dying, and from what I've heard large amounts used to wash up on shore just like dead fish do now. No doubt they were used as fertilizer, or god-forbid, eaten. They were also harvested in large amounts; the ones that survived to market would be sold at higher price and eaten by people with money, the dead ones that spoil almost instantly after dying would no doubt be snagged by lower classes and used to feed prisoners.

I've mad it 3 times, my problem is that I always come back. It's not a craving so much as it is having little else in life I enjoy.

I'm trying to brew low-alcohol beer right now. I enjoy doing it so it occupies time I'd normally sit on my ass and booze. Also cheaper.
