As a kid, breakfast cereal was something that I ate if I was in a hurry. Otherwise, my mom would actually prepare a proper breakfast. I'm talking eggs, bacon/sausage, hash browns, and toast. Maybe pancakes or waffles if she was feeling up to it. Sometimes she'd even make Eggs Benedict, which was a real fucking treat.

Honestly, I actually hated the days where I had to eat cereal. Even though I was the one who picked it out, I would still miss having "real" breakfast.
