It's 5 foot, but I don't use it as a column still very often. The product I pull(low wines) from a birdwatchers recipe is fine. It's technically swill, but when you hit it with baking soda, it's fine.

welp, i built a 3 inch copper column from drain waste vent copper. I bought 170 dollars worth of copper and made 4 and 6 feet columns for my reflux still. From the rest of it I made a jackson reflux boka still. Total cost was around 500 dollars.

Oh, ok, you need to know what's flowing up to your condenser. You're basically creating a petroleum tower if you've ever seen a gasoline factory. It fractionates all of the chemicals by temperature. Ethanol coming out at the draw point.

It's a 9 gallon, 3inch, 4ft tall pot still boka with a jackson crossflow condenser packed with copper mesh. The azeotropic extractor is a 5ft pipe packed with copper mesh that acts as a stabilized reflux still that can extract pure ethanol. That's how it looked when it was first built.
