The knowledge that my food has been through a process that will kill any living thing on this earth gives me comfort. Boiling, baking, deep frying. Anything on or in it that could hurt me has been utterly destroyed.

Where do you shop for groceries? Maybe the locale hurts your mindset. A more upscale place might be good for you.

If there were a "toast sandwich" in that image I would have included it. *Maybe* if the bagel was sliced horizontally I would have accepted that - depending on the fillings - even though that is not the way to eat a bagel, and a bagel is still a bagel even if you pretend it's a sandwich and eat it like a retard.
>b-but you included the biscuit!?
Yes, because putting bacon eggs and cheese on a biscuit and making it into a sandwich isn't how biscuits are traditionally eaten. Bagels are ALWAYS sliced in half and topped with one or more ingredients, and importantly, are NOT eaten as a side, but rather as the main thing. When you make a breakfast sandwich on a biscuit you're transforming it into a different dish. When you make a sandwich with a bagel you're just eating a bagel incorrectly.

A burger is a burger. If it was a patty melt I'd fall on the side of calling it a sandwich.

Pretty pedestrian spread of ingredients, but as long as you don't cook it past medium-rare, or medium at most, you can still make a decent burger. It's obviously not going to be anything world-class, but as long as you don't make a a few basic mistakes you can still have on okay dinner.

I picked up some Taco Bell last night, but the last time I actually went inside and sat down to eat was probably 15 years ago.

>an Indians instinct is to smother everything in sauce to cover up bad cooking
And after centuries of global conquest and colonialization the British only figured this out 50 years ago and immediately turned it into their national dish.

I used to get these from the dollar shelf at my drug store all the time and they're actually not that bad. Don't listen to >>18413010. Polar kipper snacks are leagues better than bottom shelf deenz such as Beach Cliff or Chicken of the Sea. Also don't listen to >>18413004. People who mash up deenz (or kipper snacks) with a bunch of other shit on put them on bread don't really like deenz and are just looking for some cheap and easy protein. They're like 14 year old girls who drink wine coolers to get drunk because "alcohol tastes yicky". Pour yourself a beer or a whiskey, open a sleeve of saltines, put kipper snacks on saltines and apply hot sauce of choice.
