The point of veganism isn't to stop the use of ALL animal products. The only way I can do that is killing myself, and I don't want to.

It's defined as "a way of living that seeks to exclude, as far as possible and practicable, all forms of exploitation of, and cruelty to, animals for food, clothing and any other purpose."

So yes, there are animal products in many things we use and it's impossible to avoid them. But it's a fallacy to assume that there's no benefit in *reducing* the use of animal products just because you can't eliminate it all.

Whether you want to improve your diet, reduce suffering, or help the environment, reducing your consumption of animal products is arguably the most effective way to do it, even if you can't eliminate it completely.

And I'm not trying to force people to do anything, I just want to clear up a misunderstanding.
