On 4th of July I purchased some Laphroaig 10 year to open my Scotch horizons. It was only $30 at my total wine and more. The moment I opened the bottle, model T factory rubber tires filled my nose and so did burning rubber/campfire mixed with seaweed. I think I found a new love. I've been drinking Evan Williams white and black label, Jim Beam, many other Bourbons and only monkey shoulder as my first scotch. I can't wait to start diving more into Ardbeg and other Islay Scotches. Best $30 I've ever spent on whiskey.
