P. Terry's. A local couple tried to open a In-N-Out here in the 90s but corporate shot them down, so they copied their design, menu, and prices but with a green paint job and better food. Their burgers are far better than In-N-Out, are stupid cheap, and they have the greatest fast food fries of any chain.

Also we have the best (possibly only?) frozen Naples style pizza in the nation - look for BOLO pizza in any local HEB (assuming its not sold out). Its $12 but worth it.

As a native Texan Whataburger has gone to complete shit in the last 2 - 3 years. It may as well be BK-tier now except 25% more expensive.

Thankfully I live right across the street from the best burger chain in the US so there is no excuse to eat any other burger
