You nailed it. My current favourite recipe is pretty simple actually:

>inverted method
>water temp 185F, grind level between 5 to 6 depending on the beans
>15g beans, 75g water. 1:5 ratio.
>add water, stir for 15 seconds
>flip over, shake once so all the beans come to contact with the water, wait 45 seconds
>10 seconds press
>dilute with water/milk as necessary
