Ive been giving some bottom shelf scotch a try for a change, and was pretty happy with both Dewar's Jpanese Smooth and their Sherry Cask 8-year.

To change things up I got a bottle of Famous Grouse because I've heard it's very good for the price. But now I'm wondering if the whole world is on fucking drugs except for me, because it's absolutely vile. It reeks of decaying fruit and pickle brine, and tastes just as bad. I've tried to mix it with sparkling water and ginger ale but all that did was waste some perfectly good soda.

Did I get a bad bottle somehow, or do people actually like this shit?
