i love jacques dearly but for some reason i dont think ill be depressed when he dies. guy lived a very long and storied life and had an extremely successful career. he has a beautiful family and spends his retirement happily teaching people his love of cooking. every time you watch one of his videos you can tell there's nothing he'd rather be doing. it'll be a great loss when he's gone but honestly it seems like he's accomplished everything he's wanted to. a truly great man.

The best series with him is 'Jaques and Julia' where he's pretty much just trying to keep a demented Julia Child from burning down her kitchen while he's showing off his recipes.
