Assuming that a double espresso in your local coffee shop is say €3.50, that's 142 espressos.
You also won't use it every day, you will for 2 weeks, the first few coffee's will not be that great because you're learning what your machine is capable of.
Honestly, seriously consider wheather or not it is worth it. You can go to your preferred coffee shop and get what you believe to be a good, consistent espresso every time.
That €500 is better spent on beans, a good grinder or some other basics. I would recommend that you be cautious on the idea, unless you are using it at least every three days over the course of a year, it hasn't been a good investment of your money or time.

However if you do choose to pull the trigger on this, under no circumstances should you use dark, or midium/dark coffee. The oils in the coffee WILL make your machines internal plumbing dirty over time, home espresso bars aren't designed to be cleaned like commercial ones and this can be a problem. Stick to medium or medium/light. And for the love of God, don't shell out a couple of hundred quid just to cheap out on a decent set of scales.
