I used to think vegans COULD NOT be fat... But then I realized

1. Most vegans don't really eat a "whole foods" diet anyway... Like the OP guy, they are all into processed stuff, powders like matcha powder or pea protein powder, diet/sugarfree drinks, chocolates etc. You get a good idea by watching their "eat in a day" videos.

2. Even if they did eat whole foods, a plant based diet is so high in carbs and so lacking in nutrition that it might jink your insulin levels and make you fat.

For me, its french onion.
I make a soup for every season.
Spring is lamb vegetable, with dumplings.
Summer is pork hock lentil.
Fall is potato and leek.
Winter is french onion with cherry.

I also make others, depends on what's on sale and what ever.

I make a lot of tomato soup during the summer from my tomato garden.
