I live in a eu country with good farming and animal regulations, and a couple of years ago the news came out that chicken bred, raised and slaughtered in our country would be fine to eat raw, because it was clean and disease free.
I have never tried it, because i learnt never to eat that shit raw, and it sticks with me.
But i did play around with the idea of making chicken sashimi/sushi. Never did it.
i mean if you are really sure about the quality and cleanliness of your chicken, it shouldn't be a problem, but like what are the benefits?
I dont generally love raw meats or fish, it's fine and suits some dishes, but whats the point of raw chicken? the protein isn't that flavorful to start with, and unless i hear someone i trust or at least respect(none of you guys) rave about how raw chicken is such an experience i would never try it.
