I am 18 and was never taught how to cook by my parents. Even the few home ec classes I attended in high school skipped over the very basics so I had no idea what was going on. It seems a very fun and relaxing thing to do and I think I will give it a shot with some spaghetti Bolognese soon. I am deathly afraid of the stove and have not turned it on despite having lived in my current place since the end of 2019. I have boiled pasta once in my life on a stove but that's about it. When it boiled over it just about sent me into a panic attack. To top it all off I am highly uncomfortable around fire in general. I hope I can overcome these fears and start eating decently, just going to put on a how to make bolognese YouTube video and follow it exactly
