I want to make my own beef jerky because shit is too expensive here.

I know that part of the reason why its expensive is that big amounts of meat shrink down heavily when dried.

But just how much weight gets lost? How much jerky do I get out of 1kg of beef on average?

I don visit this forum very often so I dont know if this is a thing here or not but I find this to be the best board to ask for..

lets exchange goods.. ask for whatever you woulf like to have and maybe someone will be willing to send you what you cannot get in your country.. in return send them something too

I would like some good beef jerky.. I live in czech republic and you can get it here but for some reason I feel like the shit you have in the states must be even more delicious..
if anybody would be wiling to exchange some beef jerky (whatever brand you suggest) I would send you whatever you might want to have from czech or slovak republic,
