In my pinion salsa should be 100% about best flavour possible, and reserve the heat and bite for hot sauce. it's fun to make stuff spicy of course, but you can get the best of both worlds if you just nail secret recipe-tier flavour. it's always easy to spice things up in other way.

just my pinion though

this is actually a capitalist practice and it's the record label who blocks shit because they have distribution contracts and the crüe's videos must be available here from a different division or distributor's channel

Blogpost time.

Me and my dad don't really get along. We don't fight or anything, but he was always yelling and dismissive when I was a kid, to the point that it shockingly took me all the way into my late 20s to start to realize everything that goes wrong around me isn't actually my fault and I don't need to feel crippled by guilt or fault all the time.

As such, as an adult, we coexist fine but we aren't particularly close and frankly I can hardly bare to celebrate his birthday or father's day or anything anymore.

However, when I do spend time (a few days or a couple weeks) with the folks, we have some common ground. My mother likes it when I cook nice roasts and stuff, my dad can't stand it and he stomps around opening all the windows bitching about why "I" had to do this today. But then, late at night or early morning, I'll make some proper stovetop Cream of Wheat and he always sneaks downstairs and asks if he can have some. Or at night I might make some tuna sandwiches and he always wants on of those too. Couple cans of tuna, well drained, just enough mayo but not more, quarter of an onion finely diced, tiny tiny minced bits of fresh celery for some crunch but avoiding any of that celery texture, some lemon pepper, a squirt of lemon juice, some salt and a pinch of chirri flake.

He used to like having it on cold white bread but since I made it once on lightly toasted bread that's all he prefers now. Feels good that we have these quiet moments where he can actually participate and enjoy some little thing with me without turning it into yet another goddamn problem.

And this concludes my blogpost.

As a kid I was taught to mix tuna with some white sauce and serve it on toast.
I've never met anyone else who does this, but it's the only way I eat canned tuna.

people don't want special treatment and generally speaking they don't want interactions with strangers.

you're doing the right thing though. I had a lady with a full trolley let me go ahead of her when I was buying 2 things and I appreciated it muchly

what did you think was going to happen. USAmericans don't have to buy the cheap shit, they can buy anything they feel like paying for but the cheap shit is there for the taking as well.

anon all I know is I make apple pies and apple crisp and it's fine with mcintosh or cortland apples, but if you can't get those you pick something else PLUS granny smith, and it comes out similar. granny smith is an apple you can't go without.

It's just a brüger patty with some merrickan cheese on top. I made this some years ago and snapped and snapshit to show /ck/ what my parents used to feed me.

to be honest though, to this day I don't like burgers. I prefer to just omit the bread and have the rest on a plate.

I frankly don't see why horsemeat would be offensive to someone already fine with eating cow, aside from the fact it's a little rude to not label it as such.

Everyone has their own way of doing this, and people that go down the rabbit hole of proper budgeting probably have stronger advice, but I do it this way.
>40% of my paycheck immediately goes into untouchable savings
>another 30% is set aside for rent™
>the rest of it is disposable on bills and whatever I want (booze, smokarettes, food, buying dumb shit to make me happy, insurance and utilities)
I only watch the disposable balance every few days. I buy what I want, I eat what I want, after 3 or so days I check how I'm going and adjust. If I get down to like $100 and I'm still 4 days from payday I won't be buying pizzas and shit, I just adjust as I go but not in daily or strict increments. Idunno, I guess my life is simple enough that this works for me (no kids etc). Luckily I love cooking so that already helps but †bh sometimes I buy fucking lobster steak and scallops and then it's pasta and saurse for a few days to get back on track. The only thing that's strict is savings stay in savings and rent is paid early.

I brined chicken the other day, as a whiteman. And I dumped the messy chicken brine into the sink, also as a whiteman. Ergo, the sink is rife with all wonts of chicken disgustingness plus all the bacon grease I dump into the sink because I Rent™

not really. your efforts to dilute it with more ingredients will waste time and you'll have a mix of fresh food that could have been better used and a mix of muschy leftovers. dump it on some inexpensive rice and eat it in portions for a couple days and just live and learn. and I would suggest eating zero sodium the rest of the day just to help you stomach it
