all of that stuff is useful (except the junk food but I had a transgression I guess).

mutlivitamins and probiotics are snake oil for most people unless you need them - my doc suggested i take them due to some digestive problems caused by massive doses of antibiotics I was given when my appendix went gangrenous.

I also would have accepted "grinder? I hardly knew her!"

Anyway I get that bread from the Coles™ bakery but YOU GOTTA BE QUICK. They put fresh bread out at 10-11am and the good stuff is gone by about 1pm. All those annoying earlybird 7am grandmas are buying day old bread kek.

I don't make it myself, so if I can get the fresh bread when it rolls-out it's game time, if I can't get warm baguettes on the day I cancel and don't buy the meat etc. and just try again in a week or something.

It's not bad †bh. And honestly the things that people complain about the most aren't even true. It's not like the rib patties we had at my high school, and it's not like the frozen On-Cor ones either.

The McDix Rib is not that sweet, the sauce isn't syrupy and overwhelming like those other ones, it's not like Sweet Baby Ray's stye sauce. It's actually quite vinegary, more acidic than sweet (but yes still sweet), and it leaves a ton of room for the piggles and onions without tasting like diabeetus. And at least in my preparations the meat has been tender and substantial, and the bun has been super fresh.

It's McDix, the highest score possible for McDix is 8/10 and this is a solid 7/10. Not spectacular but still in the top 5 when it comes to their burger/patty/bun offerings.

No, anon, it's quite a bit different.

I think the important thing here is context and expertise. In the culinary world there very well may be accepted standards of distance, angle, or cooking configuration that are considered direct and indirect heat exposure, even if it's not clear by simply referencing the dictionary definition of the words.

It keeps it cold but only enough to slow down the melting, I think 24 hours is pretty good. You can leave it on perpetually and it'll keep making fresh ice on top as the ice on the bottom slowly dissolves and drips down. It's a hundred bucks anon this is a joy! Plus you can also just make a shitton of ice and store it in a freezer if you really want to.

I'm gonna spearmint with it tonight by storing some in the freezer but also letting it run through tomorrow, and see how well it maintains the ice when I get home from work tomorrow.

It's a small freezer anon, just like the side of a large microwave compartment. It's stacked with leftovers and sauces and shit like that so I really don't have room for lots of ice trays. A new freezer is too expensive (mine's only a couple years old) and this ice dealie is so much faster making ice anyway

people can get welfare payments anon, which is cash in the bank. but there are also food programs that provide subsidies specifically for essentials (food, housewares, hardware, fuel, etc). They are not mutually exclusive. However, SNAP/Foodstamp programs are politically less volatile because it inhibits neets from using tax money on booze, drugs, and tattoos.

I know what you're referring to and you information (or interpretation) is distorted.

Things to remember bruh: we have a lot of illegal but pending immigrants in detention because they rocked up undocumented; during covid their accommodations in hotels had to be *ahem* adjusted for public safety and tough shit. also, we have large communities (literal country-sized communities) of sovereign indigenous land which have nothing but problems: extremely poor public health, high crime, domestic violence, sexual abuse, etc. Australia has taken a hard no-tolerance policy to this bullshit and has banned alcohol and even pornography in gigantic swaths of this country because evidence shows those things make these problems worse. These communities are extremely vulnerable to pathogens in general, mostly due to the statistically horrid public health situation. Those communities are off-limits by default; they're sovereign territory not open to tourists or gawkers of do-gooders. During covid the gov't rightly (imo) circumvented a zombie apocalypse deathtrap scenario and locked those communities down even more than they were. Yes, this meant residents couldn't leave as they could normally, but also meant others couldn't go in and risk infection.

Tough titty. They so strongly reject outside influence they petition for their lands to made a sovereign country and quite frankly during the potential health crisis with the pandemic the gov't here accommodated responsibly, but always controversially

a lot of people were raised with the expectation to enjoy salty and sweet foods, and simultaneously were raised by people who don't understand how to cook well.

this is why literally tens or hundreds of millions of kids love sugary breakfast cereal and chinese food. nothing has ever shown them any better so they don't know better.

I was literally in my mid-to-late 20s when I appreciated things like brussie sprouts and brock and kale
