My family came over when we were still a kingdom. I've never known a life other than this. I visited California once and only found a strange wasteland with mostly callous, overworked folk with whom I shared precious little and who thought of me in terms of stereotypes. Lotta crime and tribalism.

Maybe it is whataboutism, but I'd still prefer to buy local, because this thing of ours is precious. I would probably neck myself if I ever had to endure exile in the mainland. And hey; the coffee's good.

I just don't know how to time the deepfryer bros.

The chicken wings take longer than the fries or the onion rings.

I can't cook them at the same time in the fryer, one will burn. If I cook them seperately, one gets cold. If I eat them seperately, I have to rush to finish eating to get down to the deepfryer before the other item burns.

I just want to have hot fries and hot wings at the same time, not staggered.

They trigger reddit immensely because they aren't socialist. Reddit wants minimum wage to be a zillion dollars because they are all minimum wage workers, so it's merely self interest. So that's one plus for tim hortons, but to speak honestly, I too, would prefer to not eat there so much, even though I am no socialist, but there is simply no other option in general. I work nights and other breakfast places are either not open as early, or not placed every ten feet, making it a pain to patronize them. Variety is good, everyone likes it.

People wonder why no competition exists, well, I can tell you why. There is a local coffee shop right across from tim hortons that I would love to go to. Except it opens at eight o clock. Who the fuck wants coffee then? You must know your market. The tim hortons is busy and thriving at 5 a.m. and there across the street is the dark windows of the coffee shop that will never prosper.

Because they're not getting what they want. And they think that by acting like a cunt, they'll get their own way. I had a guy come in with a half-full chocolate milk and asked if he could return it "because when he got it it was already opened". It was pretty obvious he drank it and is now trying to get money off me. I told him "I'm not gonna return it because how do I know you've just drank half of it and are coming in trying to claim a refund". And he just went fucking off, made a huge fucking scene in front of me and the customers, the store manager spoke to him and she ripped him a new asshole.

But yeah, if they're not getting what they want, they'll resort to making a scene, but all it does is just make customers angry at them.
