My fingers slipped on a potato I was slicing with the mandoline and my pinky went between the blade and the potato. Clean slice. Doesn't look bad, and it wasn't, but now when I play piano there is this annoying ache beneath the scar tissue. I'm hope that feeling disappears in another year or two. Luckily it was a single depth (not adjustable) mandoline that only does a fairly thin slice.
