I've had a Global G-80 since I was 19 and it's been my workhorse. A lot of my jobs have been prep-heavy so it got a lot of use and it never showed signs of wear over the years even with minimal maintenance (honing a lot, infrequent sharpening). It's my favorite knife and the one I most frequently use. Definitely recommend. The handle being molded in like that makes it sturdy too.
