flyovers unironically think they have it good when it comes to food.

The horseshoe sandwich. Typically it's a hamburger patty on a slice of Texas toast, topped with fries and bacon and then cheese sauce. I prefer it buffalo chicken style, so the same but a buffalo chicken patty and buffalo sauce and ranch instead of cheese.

The horseshoe sandwich - Texas toast, french fries, cheese sauce, and the meat of your choice. I'm partial to hamburger, but ham and pork tenderloin are good, too.

There's a place that does them with pulled pork(or brisket or chicken) and bbq sauce, and that's pretty fucking good, too.

I grew up in the mid-west united states and was always disgusted by the culinary abominations that was people passed off as cooking.
