When I was in school on a break I walked to the nearby gas station and got a vitamin water from some reason.

My entire body started to feel super weird and flushed. It was like a drug. Later on I realized it was because I was so deprived of basic vitamin C or whatever that it felt overwhelming to have some in such a long time. I've had more vitamin water/fruits since then pretty regularly and never had that happen again.

And yes I know
