Picky eaters deserve to be gassed.

Young humans evolved sensitive bitterness receptors as a defense mechanism, as they are more susceptible to toxins. Yet, if someone was picky later in life and went like "eww those berries are a bit mushy, hasn't the big mac been invented yet?" they'd die of malnutrition.
What you see with picky eaters is an over-expression of this evolutionary trait, as in our time, no-one will die from lack of food variety; hence the over-expressive bitterness gene proliferates, especially in first world countries which have great healthcare systems. This is why tastelets tend to be European or American.

They won't be developing a pallet, they will always live on unseasoned mash potatoes, frozen pizza and soggy KFC.

Don't be part of the problem and allow them to spread their tastelet genes.
