I like steak but duck breast is better imo. I prefer roasts and ground when I eat beef. A good dry aged steak is pretty fucking good though, when its so tender you can cut it with a plastic spoon its the real deal. I got 1/4 cow so its mostly roasts and ground and I'll stretch the steaks out by eating half of one and then saving the other half to put on a salad.

That much I guessed, though I think I might skip oven.
How do I season it and what should I serve it with?

I think from a home raised bird raised on pasture and forage chicken breast can definitely be more flavorful than the boneless skinless atrocities you get in the supermarket.

But if you really want poultry breast, you need duck

Also chickens hate water.
And how the fuck can you prefer chicken over duck? Duck meat and duck eggs are amazing. Chicken meat is like cardboard and chicken eggs tend to be watery have have fragile yolks.

Nah, chicken thighs are not the same. And trust me, this is coming from someone who used to live off of chicken thighs. Duck is just rich and delicious, and its so cool how little of it you need to be satiated. Half a breast or a single thigh is enough for me, someone who has a massive appetite and could easily eat an entire rotisserie chicken and still be hungry.

it kinda tastes like shit so really the more it's processed the better
sausage, jerky, put in a chili, mixed with other meats or pig fat, yeah

duck is weird and tastes closer to steak than chicken breast. but i got food poisoning from a big bowl of rice with duck and threw it all up pretty much undigested and that was not a good few days so i dont eat it anymore.

I just cooked this for the first time and it was absolutely delicious. What's the catch?
