China is huge and the variety in Chinese tea and method of preparing tea is also huge. Chinese tea culture has evolved over time as well. If you want to really get your sinophilia on you can get into gong fu with all the funny utensils.
But mostly you just need a gaiwan or small teapot if you want to brew the gong fu way that is popular with Chinese tea enthusiasts nowadays (a lot of leaves, not much water and lots of short brews).
But brewing straight in the cup or in glass pitchers is also popular in China, especially for green tea because it looks pretty.

FullChea can be hit or miss, but they do have good prices. YunnanSourcing has better descriptions and is probably the most newbie friendly site. KingTeaMall also has a large selection of mostly inexpensive Chinese teas, though the site focuses more on pu-erh.

Gongfu style is still the best way to drink tea.

Most people choose not to because it takes more effort to enjoy it. Adjusting tea/water ratio with steep time over multiple infusions seeing how the flavor evolves is really fascinating. It puts the drinker into a position where you have to focus on the tea and then understand the process.

I feel like Millenials will have an easier time understanding this, unlike the Baby Boomers who gave rise to the most unhealthy society the world has ever seen.
