How much energy does an electric or induction stove typically consume a day (for 1 person, I'm an incel)? By my calculations, I could use 1.3 kWh a day for the same price I'm paying for gas (current prices). In other words I could cook something on a 1000 W electric stove top for 1.3 hours, which sounds like a lot and I would probably use way less energy than that. Come to think of it, maybe I should have switched to electric a long time ago.

If my other calculations are correct for easy comparison, 1.3 kWh equals to the energy required to heat and boil 2.07 kg of water from 20 °C.

I'm back with results if anyone gives a shit. So I just seasoned the breast as usual, but then I wrapped it up nice and tight in aluminum foil. 15 minutes at 400 degrees and then let it rest for a 5 minutes at room temperature.

It wasn't quite as juicy as my oily breasts but I didn't get a stomach ache or anything after eating it so it's a clear W in my book. Thanks everyone and maybe this will help someone in the future.

Basically: seasoned, aluminum foil wrapped breasts baked at 400 degrees for 10-20 minutes in the oven with a 5 minute rest time = idiot proof chicken breasts.
