This was a double whammy. I had more time to get drunk and the traffic was much more enjoyable.

Also eating while driving is one of the best pleasure of the modern world. It's like orgies where you eat and have sex at the same time.

I fucked up again.
I spent 2 years being a shitty alcoholic. Fighting, driving drunk, breaking things, hurting people.

I stopped 6 months straight until mid-april, when I started to have a beer or two with friends.
Last week end I bought some whisky, telling myself how it would be great to sip some liquor after coming from work. Enjoying just a drink or two. I'm a changed men now I'm in control of my drinking.

I emptied the bottle, got arrested by the cops for starting a fire in a public parc (i live in a super urban area of a major NA city).

I woke up the next morning with burn holes in my new clothes I could finally afford because I had some cash saved since I wasnt drinking. My hole bedroom was smelling like shit. The was blood in the kitchen since I hurted my foot. My kitchen counter where a mess of empty glasses and spilled food.
It took me 2 days before I could get out of bed and clean the mess.

I drink like 8 beers a day with my leukemia chemo.
Last I saw my doctor she said I wasn't making the progress she expected.
I wish I could quit drinking. I've lost all my friends, my brother don't talk to me anymore.
I don't want to end up like my raging alcoholic grandpa. He's completly senile had his anus removed do to an alcohol related cancer. His dad and brother died of alcohol dementia.
I am addicted to alcohol too bro.

it really depends on your tolerance. I could drink a 350 ml of hard liquor in 4 settings when I was young.

I the peak of my alcolish I could down a 350ml and wake up like a flower for work the next morning.

Yes it comes every now and then, but had an urge for a McRib, and a lot of time on my hands so I briefly crossed the border to get som McRibs and buy some TSHirts.

For about 2 years I was recreationally drinking and driving.
I'd buy booze and cruise around the city. I culd down 8 beers cruisin around, park and pass out, then drive back home sippind on 4 others.
I don't think I was a real danger, except at 3 am when I was shitfaced, but I always took little routes, never went on the highway and knew where the cops had a chance to be.

I had a few close calls, once the cops woke me up in my car, in the parking of a strip club, a bottle of jamieson on my lap, with my foot on the accelerator. I was heating the car and passed out. They let me go but charged me 400$ for out of date driving license.

I am just lucky that in all those years I never was arrested.

I stopped when I got so drunk one afternoon that I decided to go to the closest US beach (3hrs drive from my canadian city). I got raped at the US customs, clocked 0.07 mg alcohol with th Vermont State Police, got charged for open container, got refused to enter USA and went back home.
