I should be happy to still have a job, that the place I work at was one of the few restaurants in my town that didn't go under (and also isn't a fast food chain) because of covid, but now that no one really gives a shit here anymore and the governor doesn't, either, I've been back to that life, and haven't had a day off since New Year's Day. It's not like I'll ever be able to do anything else, but I wish I wasn't such a wagecuck, you know? Wish I could just say "boss, give me one fucking day off" instead of "oh, so and so called in? Yeah, of course I'll come in :)"
