So I'm no cook, but reading this thread I'm noticing 2 points of discussion that haven't really been addressed except for >>14139173:
1) OP started the thread defensively because he's tired of being crapped on in threads about fast food etc. You guys have done great at telling him why he's wrong but dang y'all could stand to comfort the lad
2) Do most of you just walk down the street to the fresh ingredient place because it's right there? I'm curious how much of /ck/ has the luxury to get your ingredients daily fresh because I imagine that requires far less planning than OP is complaining about. Again I'm a total s/ck/rub who's crowning cooking achievement is working the grill, frying some eggs, or whipping up some instant ramen with some veggies etc. so I'm shooting from the hip here

Maybe I'm missing a joke, but I think the thing keeps the lid of the pizza box from touching the pizza

I guess that's what I deserve for being a rude fuck and not putting the phone down.
