I wouldn't say these are the necessary toppings, but its what I put
>lettuce
>mayo
>avocado
>jalapeño/cayenne/habanero (depends on how spicy I want it)
>cheese (generally pepper jack)

I also mix my beef with ground pork because its bomb as hell that way.
