what are the secrets behind making artisan tier bread? how do you max out flavour on it as much as possible with some secret esoteric trick? Smoking it? Glazing with fat? Egg?

How hard is pic related to make? Do i just bake a regular big circular bread and then scoop it out and put some soup in there?
