Well, first a few preliminary questions.

Do you have an approximate idea of what type of roach you are dealing with? Consult the resources I'll include in this post, and try to figure it out, as knowing what you're dealing with can help when planning control strategies.

Have you considered sealing the holes with caulk or spackle? A good first step to many pest control problems is making sure you seal up cracks, holes, refit loose windows/doors/screens, etc., to remove as many points of entry as possible. This cannot prevent intrusion with 100% success, but it really does help.

Have you already tried contacting a pest control agency, or received a quote from one? If it's a really bad infestation, I'd recommend looking into professional help, since they have access to insecticides that the average layman isn't able to procure, are trained in knowing where to apply baits and poisons to maximize their effect, and deal with this sort of stuff for a living.
