I want to make a "quintessential" Indiana hot dog like how other places have a dog that sort of embodies the region... what the fuck do I put on it? All I can think of is heirloom tomato, sweet corn, sauerkraut? Flyover jokes will be ignored, I'm not embarrassed to be from the Midwest (well, not because of the food at least). Very few of our most famous foods are hot dog conducive:

>pork tenderloin
>fried Sechler pickles
>shrimp cocktail
>popcorn
>sugar creme pie
>persimmon pie
>biscuit and gravy
>coney dogs (in one specific city)
>pork brain
