i just make big meals and freeze a lot for the same reason. chicken especially starts to smell off to me really quick.

i make small pans of lasagna, shepherds pie and freeze for easy meals later. lots of chili and soups in the freezer.

i make 20+ quarts of soup at a time, then i freeze it in plastic containers. then i pop the cubes of frozen soup or stew out and vacuum seal them for later thawing. i have a large deep freezer and often pull meals out for thawing.

here is an example of beef stew

you planning on freezing it? does it hold up well?

this is the deep-freezer anon who made that bigass batch of chili. last week i did 6lbs of beef into a french-style stew. deglazed with red wine and everything. just got around to vacuum sealing it all up tonight.
