anything with hydrogen peroxide does works. crest whitestrips work well, but you really pay for the convenient packaging. pluswhite whitening stuff is the same thing, just in a tube, and about 8 bucks.
hydrogen peroxide might make your teeth sensitive, or cause intense stabbing pains like it does for me. if you use sensodyne or some other toothpaste with potassium nitrate in it, that will help a lot.
whitening toothpastes are just more abrasive. they'll help your teeth stay white if you drink coffee, tea, red wine, smoke, etc.
rinses or toothpastes with hydrogen peroxide are useless. the peroxide needs to sit on your teeth to work, and your saliva contains peroxidase.

Hi /ck/,

I'm extremely new to cooking, and I realize this is a dumb question, but I'm terrified of giving myself food poisoning or something, so I always overcook everything and spend at least 10 minutes scrubbing each dish/utensil. I imagine that this is probably overkill, but I would like to know what I have to do to ensure that my dishes are clean. I am handcleaning everything because I don't have a dishwasher. Thanks guys.
