Now you understand why Americans are so fucking fat compared to the rest of the civilized world. Where as countries like France have learned moderation, Americans simply exist to consume. Everything is designed to consume as much as possible, even a simple coffee. It is accompanied by a comfy booth to lounge in, dim lighting, some indie jazz rock, and a variety of enriched pastries that are quickly digested, leaving the person feeling hungry shortly thereafter. Not to mention the coffee rips through you so fast that you feel dehydrated and empty, causing you to order (consume) more.
