This infographic is basically trying to change the common use of the term processed.

In the most starkly strict and technical sense, a baked potato is processed, but with regards to actual differences between it and a regular potato, it obviously isnt at all. Same with cream, which has to go through a process to make it at all. By this logic, coffee and tea can only exist as processed foods and never be made naturally, which completely trivializes the use of the word.

Processed means = Going through industrial equipment. The reason processed foods (Foods gone through food industry facilities) are so unhealthy are myriad, but one that they all have in common is that they go through heavily cleaned and chemically scoured surfaces. Many, like with wheat, corn and soy, have shit added to them to reduce dusting and air fogging and other things that make processing easier. All of these extra additives are what people refer to as bad, from processed (Run through industrial food facilities) foods.
