It's got the best chili dogs and the best Greek food. Anything else I'm sure you can find just as good in any other part of the state, somewhere, less so the higher North you go.

What are the key differences in your opinion? I've only been to Lafayette on my trips to the area, next time plan on sampling a bit of both if I get the chance but that won't be for quite some time

American Coney Island or Lafayette Coney Island. It's kind of a meme, but sometimes memes exist for a reason.

Though I don't live in the city when I'm in MI and honestly even any National Coney Island isn't bad either for a quick pig out.
