why are you posting a gif of yourself?
I'm not a Phil, but why are you guys even posting on /ck/ to shit on food that you think it's shit just purely from the look of it?
Here's what you never spent a second to think about (implying you even have a brain to think in the first place):
The Balut egg, when cooked, is essentially a complete duck dish with duck broth from both bone and meat. The flavour, when paired with salt and peppers, no other kind of egg can even compare because they don't have the bone and meat to impart that intense flavour into the broth (inside the egg). Eat with 1 or 2 leaves of laksa, the entire flavour profile is elevated.
But a bunch of cooklet faggots like you wouldn't know.

How do I make roux for mac and cheese? Help me, bros.

#Attempt 1
I added a stick of butter, started sprinkling some flour. Medium heat.
After a couple minutes, I started adding milk. I only added a couple sprinkles. There were some burns in the middle. I lowered the heat. The butter was gone, now it looked like cookie dough, but it started to go brown. I thought it was partly because I used a shitty, thin cheap metal pot.
Result: brown, slightly burnt cookie dough.
(By the way, how much milk should I pour in at the initial mixing stage? I only added maybe 50 ml)

#Attempt 2
Decided to try it on a metal pan. This time, I only used a couple teaspoons of butter to train. I wanted to try it several times.
First, I started heating the pan without water or anything. (I think this was the first mistake)
Then I put in the butter. It immediately turned brown-reddish caramel colour.
I panicked, and like an idiot, put it into cold water. Fuck, luckily I turned it off quickly, and immediately faced it away from me. No burns, no fire. The kitchen is literally filled with mist.

What I think I had to do is:
1. Put the butter in before heating the pan, so that it dissolves steadily and eases into it.
2. Set the heat to even lower because of the small amount of butter.

I'll be updating after I clean the pan, I would like some advice in the meantime.

depending on tips and not getting enough of them it's the catalyst to make you want to better yourself and move on.
the problem with this generation is that they want their tips, their free stuff, without doing any of the work.
they want some magical pension money, magical social security, as if by being born they are owed something.
